Blade Farming operates a series of livestock collection centres. These centres are strategically placed throughout the country and function on a weekly basis.

The centres currently handle in excess of 12,000 head of cattle during the year, and these are predominantly young rearing calves.

The centres all maintain a high standard of animal welfare and all the staff are trained to handle livestock, minimizing the stress for the cattle and ensuring that the operation runs smoothly and efficiently.

The calf collection centres are regularly monitored by Trading Standards, Defra, and the RSPCA and always have an appointed Veterinary Surgeon in attendance. Some of the centres are also licensed by the Soil Association for the collection of Organic livestock.

The main centre is located at Honiton in East Devon. Farmers in other areas of the country who want to supply their calves to Blade can also have access to a collection centre in Chippenham in Wiltshire and one near Whitchurch in Shropshire.
